As we are starting out, we are looking for pople to fill volunteer and intern positions, as well as are looking for poeple to join our cohort of JunkLabz artists! Each is a varying level of commitment, but all are meant to provide meaningful impact for the program and volunteers!
Plastic Recycling Handz
We are looking for volunteers to help onplastic processing days. Our process requires collection from local labs, sorting , pre-crushing certain components for easy shredding, and shredding plastic. As we grow, we would love to have a big group of volunteers we can reach out to weekly to help with this process!

Social Media Reporting Intern
We are looking for students passionate about sustainability that can help research topics and design posts for our instagram or write articles for our blog. The focus for this will be on demystifying recycling, conducting environmental research and presenting general climate data. We’d love to have applicants who are interested in building a writing portfolio, social media portfolio, or conducting research on the state of recycling.
Plastic “Waste” Artist
We are looking for artists passionate about sustainability that are looking for a new cool medium for their work. We will provide space, artist workshops where people in this cohort can meet each other, and endless sustainable material for art! This is a very flexible position perfect for creative people that want to meet other artists and create art that inspires sustainability.​
